Sharing a long-standing commitment to the Davis community, Chuck Roe and Mark Rutheiser have developed many of our town's most recognized properties, including The Lofts, the McCormick Building, Crepeville, the Woodbridge neighborhood, Oasis Place and Aggie Village. With over 150 homes constructed in Davis — from small starter homes to luxurious custom home estates — they have more than 25 years of local experience.

Chuck Roe is well-known as the President of Pyramid Construction, Inc. As a recipient of the Davis Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award, Pyramid has served as a prominent business and service leader, earning a sterling reputation for quality, design, architectural innovation, community service and integrity.
Chuck Roe remains dedicated to ongoing community service:
- The pavilion in Davis' Central Park housing the "Flying Carousel of the Delta Breeze," to benefit the Davis Educational Foundation
- Original improvements to the All Things Right and Relevant thrift stores, whose proceeds go to local mental health organizations
- Major contributions to the building of the Davis Art Center, the UC Davis Athletic Training Center at Toomey Field, the Rainbow City play structure, and exhibits at the California Raptor Center.
Chuck currently serves as a board member for the Davis Downtown Business Association and the Yolo County Visitors Bureau, and was the founder of the Davis Small Builders Co-op. He has also served as Chairman of the Davis Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; as a board member for the Davis Educational Foundation; as a member of the Davis General Plan Environmental and Open Space Committees; and as a member of two campaign committees that successfully passed bond measures for the Davis Joint Unified School District.
Mark currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Davis Chamber of Commerce, and has more than 25 years of local experience in landscape architecture and project management. He has been instrumental in the success of Pyramid Constuction, since joining the firm in 1990. This includes developing and managing many cutting-edge projects, such as the nationally-recognized Aggie Village. Since graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Mark has made Davis his home and remains dedicated to building projects which contribute to our quality of life. |
